Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Full-Time Newport, RI | Established Private Practice

About Our Practice

Our office has proudly served the Newport community for more than 40 years. Under new ownership since 2020, we've continued to build a positive, patient-focused culture while investing in our team and practice. Many of our staff members have been with us for over 15 years, creating a welcoming, supportive environment where people enjoy coming to work.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• One-hour lunch (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
• One-hour hygiene appointments

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay of $40 per hour , with room for growth based on experience and performance
• 401(k) with 3% employer match
• 50% employer-paid health insurance
• Paid continuing education ($200 annual CE allowance)
• Year-end Bonus

Paid Time Off

Responsibilities

You'll provide comprehensive patient care, including:

• Routine dental hygiene procedures
• Periodontal and restorative charting
• Medical history reviews
• Digital radiographs and panoramic X-rays as needed
• Patient education
• Sterilization
• Scheduling patients' next appointments
• Assisting with front office duties when needed, including answering phones and collecting payments

We use Dentrix practice management software.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who is:

• A licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• CPR certified (required)
• Friendly, dependable, and a great communicator
• A positive team player with a willingness to help wherever needed
• Comfortable building lasting relationships with patients

Local anesthesia certification is a plus but not required.
