Procurement & Mobility Admin

The IT Procurement & Mobility Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day lifecycle of IT hardware, software requests, and peripheral purchasing, with a specialized focus on managing our corporate wireless carrier ecosystem. This role also partners with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely purchasing, accurate recordkeeping, and effective support for IT assets, inventory, and services. Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing & Fulfillment Source, quote, and execute orders for IT hardware (laptops, desktops, monitors), peripherals, and standard software licenses based on company standards.Track order activity and help resolve purchasing or delivery issues.Mobility Management & Asset ManagementServe as the primary administrator for the corporate wireless carrier account. Maintain accurate records for devices, services, inventory, and account changes.Assist with asset tracking, inventory accuracy, and coordination of device assignment and recovery.Update and maintain the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database in Service Desk Plus (SDP) to track hardware from receiving through deployment and final disposal.Daily Operations & Support Resolve escalated service desk tickets related to procurement delays, incorrect shipments.Follow established procurement and vendor management procedures.Support process consistency, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.Scope & Accountability Supports a high-volume administrative workload within the IT function Requires strong organization, accuracy, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment Contributes to effective procurement, vendor, and operational support activities across the organization Qualifications2+ years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or a corporate help desk/operations environmentStrong familiarity with major wireless carrier portals (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) and corporate cellular fleet managementExperience utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) and asset management platformsExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detail regarding serial numbers, shipping logistics, and order trackingNo Travel requiredAttention to detail and data accuracyStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, reactive environmentPayTypeSalary
