The team uses the latest AI advances to ensure cloud products meet the highest security standards, discover novel vulnerabilities across billions of lines of code, and automate fixing issues before they reach production. We are transforming security into a seamless, automated part of every Google Cloud developer’s workflow. Compensation US: $174,000 – $253,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits. Preferred qualifications Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience developing accessible technologies. Responsibilities Architect and scale robust, secure platforms that automate security checks across Google Cloud’s developer pipeline and production systems. Design, optimize, and evaluate AI‑driven security capabilities, leading the identification of AI opportunities across Cloud Cyber Security Engineering (CCSE); including coding. Establish engineering and security standards for large‑scale distributed systems, ensuring robust end‑to‑end security. Analyze and distill complex technical and security data to drive key organizational decisions and roadmap prioritization. Provide technical leadership for multiple teams, vet system designs, and mentor senior engineers to help them grow into technical leaders.
