Lead.NET DeveloperAs a Lead.NET Developer, you will provide technical design and leadership across a portfolio of applications, driving team performance, incident management, automation initiatives, and continuous service improvements while ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives.We are looking for a Lead.NET Developer to provide technical leadership for a portfolio of applications, overseeing teams, incident resolution, automation initiatives, and service improvements while aligning technology operations with business goals. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Austin, TX.Only candidates not requiring sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.What You'll DoLead the architectural design and integration of .Net applications across the portfolio ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with business and technology roadmapsProvide advanced Level 3 technical support and serve as primary escalation contact for complex application issues and critical incidentsOversee day-to-day application operations, incident management, and service delivery activities, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)Establish and enforce development standards, architectural design review, and coding best practices to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality for system updates and releasesDefine and maintain application lifecycle management processes, including development, testing, deployment, change management, and production support activitiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying technical debt and process inefficiencies, developing and executing remediation plansDevelop, track, and report on key technical and operational metrics, including incident trends, ticket resolution times, system availability, root cause analysis findings, and service performance indicatorsManage technical work assignments and resource allocation, prioritizing workloads, balancing team capacity, and ensuring successful delivery of project and operational commitmentsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, engineers, and support analysts, fostering knowledge sharing, professional development, and a culture of technical excellencePromote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment focused on innovation, continuous learning, customer satisfaction, and operational excellenceWhat You'll NeedRequired:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceProven experience supporting government agencies or public sector entities, including navigating complex stakeholder environments and compliance-driven processesMinimum 10 years of demonstrated expertise in.NET application development and enterprise integration with demonstrated experience performing in a technical lead role on large application development or managed services engagementExperience working with low-code application platforms, preferably AppianHands-on knowledge of integration architecture and patterns including API-led connectivity and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, with experience supporting solutions such as MuleSoft or similar technologiesProven ability to manage and support complex application portfolios comprising custom-developed systems, SaaS platforms, low-code solutions, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applicationsWorking knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM processes and best practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, service request fulfillment, and service catalog administrationExperience overseeing application health and operational performance through monitoring, observability, and alerting tools, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to improve service reliability and operational outcomesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with experience resolving complex technical issues and driving root-cause analysis efforts in production environmentsAbility to assess business requirements and translate them into technical architecture and solution approachesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred:Experience supporting GIS or engineering platforms like Bentley, ArcGIS, and AASHTOWareExperience with the Salesforce platform, including its use as a system of record for case management and licensingPeopleSoft COTS applicationSailPoint IAM managementPowerBuilder experiencePhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetingsAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorEEO Statement: It is the policy of Computer Aid, Inc. The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
