This role is responsible for applying uptime and reliability strategies to maximize operational efficiency and capacity, ultimately delivering value to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate collaborates across teams and works with a variety of equipment and processes to ensure commitments and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Position Type: Full-time Hours: 40-45 hours Schedule: M-FKey RolesMaintain and optimize machinery and equipment to ensure maximum uptimeParticipate in reliability and continuous improvement initiativesDeliver value-driven support to internal and external customersDevelop and actively pursue a personal development planKey Competencies:Strong willingness to learn and follow directionTeam-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvementEffective problem-solving skills with a proactive approachAbility to communicate and collaborate across departmentsCommitment to company mission, values, and cultureDuties & Responsibilities:Develop a working knowledge of product lines and processes across all value streamsUtilize CMMS to complete, track, and document maintenance tasksPerform preventive and predictive maintenance, including condition monitoringUse a variety of tools to repair, align, measure, assemble, and disassemble equipmentFollow and enforce safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresUnderstand equipment design, functionality, and operational requirementsProvide machining and fabrication support (e.g., extrusion tooling, machine parts, flow racks)Share knowledge and train team members to support skill developmentAccurately charge parts and labor to jobs to maintain asset history and data integrityPerform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve and include cross-departmental supportEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical or trade school training preferred1–2 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience preferredBasic mechanical and troubleshooting skillsExperience with CMMS and preventive maintenance is a plusWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office and manufacturing setting.
