Workers Compensation Attorney

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm. The Atlanta Office in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join our growing team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases. Maintain billable hours as necessary. Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision. Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary. Position Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia. 2-4 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks will be considered). Experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense work preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred. Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment. The salary range for this position is $95,000-$135,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
