Secur-Serv is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Onsite Laptop Support Tech to join our team. As an Onsite Laptop Support Tech, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing failed or damaged laptops for our client:

We require an on-site technician beginning June 29, 2026 and continuing through July 29, 2026 (30 calendar days) expected to get extended.
The technician will be responsible for servicing student device failures on an as-needed basis during this period.
Support will include both standard warranty repairs and accidental damage incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose laptop issues and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs
- Repair laptops in a timely manner to minimize device downtime
- Perform both standard warranty repairs and accidental damage repairs
- Keep track of repair inventory and ensure all necessary parts are ordered in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
- Communicate with clients regarding the status of their laptop repairs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in laptop repair or technical support role
- Must possess current HP certifications/qualifications, specifically supporting the HP ZBook X G1i 16-inch Mobile Workstation PC.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
