MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 12-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour night shifts from 20:00 to 08:30, with every other weekend required and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to manage a diverse patient population effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition
• Assist with diagnostic tests and patient education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage patient caseload effectively with a ratio of 1:5
• Float to specialty sister units and lower acuity areas as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar role
• Active RN license in the state of Maryland or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory
• Experience with charting system Epic is required
• Travel experience is required
