Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide in-home assistance to clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves supporting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Help with mobility and transferring, ensuring client safety at all times Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team Assist with medication reminders and adherence under supervision Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress Requirements Previous experience in home care or related field is an advantage Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow care plans and instructions carefullyReliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor Ability to pass background checks and meet state requirements for caregiving Valid driver's license and reliable transportation plus Benefits Competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid twice a week Flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs Supportive work environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives About the Company University Home Care Inc is committed to providing quality, compassionate home care services to individuals throughout the Hartland, MI area.
