The associate will play a vital part in maintaining hygiene and safety across assigned areas.Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated spaces.Clean and disinfect operating rooms and common areas thoroughly.Operate and care for cleaning equipment and supplies safely.Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department goals.Education and Experience:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.Previous experience in a related cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous.Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.Work Schedule: Second shift, typically from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., with availability required every other weekend and some holidays.This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
