CNC Machine Operator

Job Purpose Competitive starting pay range $25/hr, eligible quarterly production bonus $200-$500, and full benefits from day one. Shift Options

1. st shift: 4:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Pay $25/hr)
2. nd shift: 4 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. (Pay $25/hr + $3 shift differential)

Overtime available. Responsibilities Read/interpret drawings and part specifications and verify/adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining. Make necessary offset changes to stay within allowable tolerances. Change inserts. Verify conformance of part to specifications using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, and fixed gauges; fill out inspection reports as required. Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly. Report all tooling and setup issues to the supervisor. Keep a clean, organized, and safe workplace. Punctual and act in accordance with company policies and procedures. Education & Training HS diploma or equivalent. Understanding of G&M codes. Experience with overhead crane movement of large material. 3–5 years CNC multi‑axis (boring mills/bridge mills) set up and operation experience. Qualifications Minimum 2 years CNC multi‑axis machine operator experience (preferred). Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy. Must be able to read and use a tape measure. Strong attention to detail; ability to inspect rail using measuring devices. Must be quality oriented and a team player. Must have complete understanding of safe work practices.
