Assignment Details
Contract Length: Minimum 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical RN experience
- Orthopedic experience required
- Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
- Licensure: NC or compact pending acceptable for submittal
- Required certifications: BLS (BCLS), NIHSS

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the orthopedic, neuro-spine, med-surg, and post-surgical populations.
- Monitor and manage post-operative pain, including the use of patient-controlled analgesia (PCA).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assess patient responses.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care post-discharge.
- Perform telemetry monitoring and IV starts as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required.
- RTO after booking is not allowed, and call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
- Pre-start modules expected (acute ~8-10 hours).
- Orientation: ~36 hours (48 hours may be offered).
