Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with strong expertise in Java backend development and modern frontend technologies . The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable cloud-native applications, developing APIs and microservices, and creating intuitive user interfaces using React and related frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices .

• Build responsive and modern user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript .

• Develop and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and web services.

• Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP .

• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ .

• Integrate Generative AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini into business solutions.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Develop Python-based components for automation, services, and data processing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, application reliability, performance optimization, and code quality.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API Development .

• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS .

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of Generative AI APIs and LLM integrations.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures .

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases .

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices .

Preferred Candidate Profile

A full-stack engineer with expertise in Java, React, Microservices, Cloud, and AI integrations , capable of building scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating effectively across teams.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$53,580 to $122,400

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
