Job Details Job Location: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Position Type: Full Time Job Purpose The Fleet Director at S&N Communications Inc is responsible for overseeing the entire fleet operations, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves strategic planning, management, and coordination of all fleet-related activities to support the company's operational goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization and minimize operational costs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards related to fleet operations. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles, ensuring timely and cost‑effective service. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and competitive pricing. Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Coordinate with other departments to align fleet operations with company objectives. Lead and mentor the fleet management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Prepare and manage the fleet budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Implement and maintain fleet management software and systems to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for fleet operations to ensure consistency and compliance. Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field. Required Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in fleet management or logistics operations. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale fleet operations. Experience in developing and implementing fleet policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost optimization strategies. Previous experience in leading and managing teams in a dynamic environment. Required Skills and Abilities Strong leadership and team management skills.
