Lead Quality Excellence

Lead, maintain, and enhance the company's quality management system and quality assurance programs. Manage quality inspectors, quality engineers, and document control processes. Ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards. Review certifications, quality records, and shipping documentation to verify customer and regulatory compliance. Plan and lead internal audits while supporting customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Oversee calibration programs for inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve quality performance. Evaluate supplier quality metrics and monitor incoming material quality. Analyze quality performance data and present findings to executive leadership. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, production, and product development teams to resolve quality issues and establish quality standards. Promote continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. 5-8 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems. Experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 compliance programs. Demonstrated expertise conducting internal, supplier, and customer audits. Strong understanding of machining, metal manufacturing, or industrial production processes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and quality requirements. Experience with calibration and maintenance of inspection and measurement equipment. Working knowledge of ERP systems, quality reporting tools, and data analysis methodologies. Proven ability to lead teams, mentor employees, and drive accountability. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
