Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $1,828 per week

Overview Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Aurora, Colorado. Responsibilities Evaluate patients using 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatments when applicable. Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Provide patient, family, student, and coworker education. Document thoroughly and timely in electronic medical records, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state Practice Act and organizational policies. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development activities. Follow established safety practices including safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and fall prevention. Qualifications Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required prior to start. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience conducting 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions preferred. Experience with caseloads in outpatient orthopedic and general musculoskeletal populations preferred. Willingness to participate in student supervision and support a clinical education environment preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working across multiple clinic sites or floating between locations. Prior travel or contract therapy experience preferred. Familiarity with safe patient handling procedures and clinic safety protocols. Assignment Details Location: split coverage between Aurora, Quincy and Highlands Ranch service areas. Hours: 40 hours per week. Schedule: 60-minute evaluations; 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
