Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC General Surgeon to join our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Department in Urbana, Illinois.

• Join a group of 6 Acute Care Surgeons and 6 General Surgeons
\n
• Candidate should have completed an ACGME accredited General Surgery residency
\n
• Work out of one hospital; Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed regional hospital and is the area's only Level I Trauma Center
\n
• Newly-built clinic located in Southwest Champaign campus
\n
• Wide variety of cases
\n
• Flexible call schedule; 20, 12-hr shifts per month
\n
• Must have experience and a continued interest working with surgical residents/medical students and qualify for faculty appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine
\n
• Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine if desired. The Carle Illinois College of Medicine is the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
\n
• Opportunity to participate in bench and clinical research if desired
\n

\nCompensation and Benefits\n
\n
\nThe compensation range for this position is $470,000 - $500,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
