Adult Group Therapist

CompassHealth Center provides crisis-level mental health services to patients across a broad range of disorders. Our outpatient therapy program includes group therapy designed to help individuals overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles. About This Role We are seeking a Group Therapist to facilitate evidence‑based group therapy sessions using CBT, DBT, and ACT modalities. The therapist will work primarily with patients in a public health‑center setting, coordinate with the treatment team, and support crisis management as needed. Responsibilities Provide group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu Develop effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change Utilize CBT, DBT, and other evidence‑based therapies Relay clinical information to the treatment team during daily rounds and as needed Develop program material and adjust group content to meet group needs Engage in crisis management when required Create and update treatment plans Chart in the electronic medical records system May meet with patients individually for case management Qualifications Passionate about facilitating group therapy and collaborative work Psychologist or Master’s level therapist Valid license in one of the following: LSW (or eligible), LPC (or eligible), LCSW, LCPC, PsyD, or PhD Core skills in CBT and DBT Prior experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential settings (preferred) Compensation $47,000 – $65,000 USD Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) with company match Generous PTO, including competitive parental leave after one year of employment Continual training through CEU seminars and volunteer opportunities Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are committed to a fair and equitable work environment.
