Maintenance Department Coordinator
Plan and schedule work performed by the Maintenance Department to assist in keeping everyone safe and equipment running to provide quality castings, on time.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter data for equipment, work order information, etc…
- Generate work orders for preventative or predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, safety, and other types of tasks.
- Assist with assigning work orders of Maintenance personnel.
- Request quotes from vendors for specific parts.
- Generate reports, such as, work order completion, age of work orders in backlog, etc...
- Work on special projects, as assigned. Assisting with safety and environmental data entering and reporting for example.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
Requirements
Basic Math (Decimals and fractions); Basic Reading (Interpretation of drawings, understanding and use of written instructions); Basic Writing (Knowledge of electrical wiring, pipefitting, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, etc. to perform repairs). Proficient with computers, formal maintenance/education training desired. Knowledge of computerized maintenance software preferred, MP2 experience a plus.
