Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse Surgical Services

Schedule: Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday, with some call coverage on weekends. May require late hours on high caseload days.

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• 3 years of experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU
• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification preferred
• Scrub experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across pre-operative, intra-operative (circulator), and postoperative (PACU) settings.
• Conduct assessments, document care, and provide emotional support to patients.
• Coordinate patient transfers and assist in the processing of instruments and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to infection control principles and departmental policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide patient education.

Compliance / Notes:

Must be able to perform effectively in stressful situations and exhibit good communication skills. Physical demands include long periods of standing and walking, as well as heavy lifting. Possible exposure to blood and body fluids.
