THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of next-generation digital payment capabilities. This role will focus on real-time money movement, person-to-person (P2P) payments, and integrations with leading payment networks including Zelle, RTP, FedNow, and ACH.

You will serve as the product leader responsible for defining innovative payment experiences, driving network integrations, and partnering across engineering, operations, fraud, risk, compliance, and business teams. The ideal candidate combines deep payments expertise with strong product management skills and a proven track record delivering complex financial technology solutions in highly regulated environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for digital payments, real-time money movement, and P2P payment capabilities
• Lead payment network integrations, onboarding activities, certification processes, compliance requirements, and operational readiness initiatives
• Translate business objectives and customer needs into product roadmaps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs
• Partner with engineering teams to drive Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release management, and product execution
• Collaborate with fraud, risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure secure and compliant payment experiences
• Oversee the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including authorization, routing, posting, settlement, exception management, and reconciliation
• Serve as the primary liaison across business stakeholders, operations teams, customer support organizations, and technology teams
• Define, monitor, and optimize key product performance metrics, including payment adoption, transaction success rates, fraud performance, customer satisfaction, and transaction latency
• Support production stability initiatives, incident management activities, root-cause analysis, and ongoing platform enhancements
• Evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, customer feedback, and emerging payment technologies to inform product strategy
• Drive stakeholder alignment across multiple business and technology organizations to deliver successful outcomes

WHAT YOU BRING

Must Haves

• 10+ years of product management, product ownership, or digital product leadership experience
• Hands-on experience working with payment networks such as Zelle, RTP, FedNow, ACH, or comparable real-time payment solutions
• Strong understanding of payment rails, transaction processing, settlement workflows, and money movement ecosystems
• Experience defining product vision, roadmaps, business requirements, and customer-focused payment solutions
• Proven success leading Agile product teams and delivering complex technology products from concept through launch
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and product specifications
• Knowledge of financial services regulations, risk controls, compliance requirements, and payment network operating rules
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills

Good to Have

• Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment hubs, payment orchestration solutions, or API-driven financial ecosystems
• Familiarity with payment network certification processes, operational readiness activities, and implementation governance
• Experience working with fraud detection platforms, transaction monitoring systems, and risk scoring models
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, Open Banking, embedded finance, and emerging payment technologies
• Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent product management credentials
• Experience within consulting, fintech, banking, or client-facing product delivery environments
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and modern payment infrastructure platforms
