Production Operator- Injection

Production Operator – Injection We are seeking a Production Operator to operate and manage injection equipment for PET and HDPE products. The role requires knowledge of injection processes, equipment operation, and quality assurance. Responsibilities Prepare, set up, start and run injection equipment. Perform minor adjustments to equipment under direction; mechanical work only with prior approval. Accurately complete and update information forms and logs (Injection preform/cap daily log, destruction logs, quality forms). Recognize unsafe conditions, follow plant safety rules, and use personal protective equipment. Perform visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets quality standards. Maintain housekeeping in production areas, break rooms and rest rooms. Identify resin types (Vpet, Rpet, HDPE) and parts suitable for grinding and reintroduction to the resin system. Fill out inspection sheets per company quality requirements and report defects immediately. Work in multiple production areas with minimal supervision; perform relief duties as needed. Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance. Use computer systems such as Shotscope, Electirc80, Ignition and others. Understand line flow and manufacturing processes to maximize throughput. Communicate issues clearly and concisely. Maintain regular, predictable attendance (12‑hour shifts, day or night, rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule). Minimum Qualifications 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 2 years of experience in a similar position, operating multiple manufacturing machines. Preferred Qualifications 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 4 years of experience working in the position. 2 years of experience managing people or projects.
