Payroll AdministratorNVR Inc. - the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes - is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Team in our Pittsburgh, PA office. The Payroll Team collaborates with other departments and employees across the company in processing payroll of NVR's 6,000+ employees.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport full cycle payroll processing of weekly, biweekly and monthly scheduleUpdate employee's federal, state, and local tax withholdingsMaintain and update employee records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, promotions, classification changes, time reporting, etc.Generate new hire I-9 reporting and review new hire I-9'sResolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationAddress employee's pay-related questions timely and provide accurate payroll informationComplete requests for pay-related documents and informationRespond to employment verification requestsComplete unemployment claimsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsAt least 1 year of experience processing high volume payroll using payroll software for data entry, processing and inquiryKnowledge of and prior work experience with multi-state and local taxes strongly preferredStrong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent customer service skillsStrong working knowledge of MS Office SuiteWillingness to work overtime to meet deadlines as requiredBachelor's Degree preferredPDS Vista Payroll system experience is a plusAs the parent company of Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes, NVR is a Top 5 US homebuilder that has been helping families build their happily ever after since 1948.
