- Schedule: 7 am start -- multiple block coverage periods available
- Admissions vary -- typically 1 - 4 per day
- Hospital setting -- inpatient rounds, consults, and OR coverage
- APP support -- surgical PAs on call, NPs covering weekend rounds
- Standard cardiac surgery required -- CABG, ECMO cannulation, aortic dissections
- Thoracic surgery capability required -- dealbreaker if unable
- Approx. 150 cardiac cases per year
- Leave coverage
