Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support an onsite employee health center in Boston, MA. This role involves assisting physicians in the examination and treatment of adult patients.
Position Details:
Location: Boston, MA (Note: No parking available on site)
Setting: Health Center
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25/hour (nationally certified) & $23/hour (not nationally certified)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide top-tier customer service and professionalism
Work with adult patient population only
No weekend or holiday shifts
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical setting required
Administrative Duties:
Appointment scheduling
Phone triage
Patient registration
Referral coordination
Fax management
Clinical Duties (for CMAs):
Phlebotomy
Immunization administration
Point-of-care testing (POCT)
Vital signs assessment and documentation
Experience with Epic EMR required
