Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Overview As an Orkin Home Services Inspector , you will work with homeowners to protect their homes through termite and pest inspections and solutions. Responsibilities You will conduct 360‑degree inspections of customers’ homes and recommend appropriate pest protection services, build trusted relationships, and meet sales goals. Key duties include: Serve as a problem solver utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best overall pest solution for each customer. Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads generated by the company’s advertising budget. Schedule sales appointments and present Orkin’s products and services to customers in their homes. Inspect interior and exterior of the home, identify issues, and explain findings and recommended actions. Prepare and assemble sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad, following training procedures. Maintain organized records and follow up with customers to set expectations and answer questions. Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification if necessary (company‑paid). Self‑motivated and able to work independently in the field while interacting with customers. No experience required—company provides full training. Physical Job Requirements Safe ladder use within manufacturer’s weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, and other areas, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
