This opportunity will give you experience in the technology sector in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in smartphones, televisions, home appliances, and semiconductor innovation — and one of the most well-known brands in the world.LOCATIONPlano, TX 75023SCHEDULEOnsiteMonday-Friday, 40 hours per weekCOMPENSATION$33 per hourCONTRACT TERM6-month contract with high likelihood of extension/conversion to full-time employeePOSITION OVERVIEW - The Financial Analyst 1 manages credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts, using risk assessment tools and financial data to evaluate and recommend credit limits for new and existing customers.RESPONSIBLITIESManage the commercial credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts made up of smaller limits and a less complex portfolio mixComplete credit reviews and assigned tasks on a timely basisUse credit risk analysis skills along with available risk assessment tools and third-party data to analyze and recommend limits for existing and new account requestsBuild relationships with the Customer for periodic financial updates and Sales for forecastsFollow established procedures and learn existing workflowsSupport senior analysts in cross-functional coordinationAssemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSBachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required.Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSAn advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.Experience with D&B reports and other trade data is a plusExperience with SAP or similar ERP system preferredSolid Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel) V-lookup and Pivot tables (Macros a+) #J-18808-Ljbffr
