Travel Cath Lab Tech

Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians during procedures, operating imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety. Troubleshooting equipment, managing inventory, documenting procedures, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications At least one year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification. Preferred credentials: radiologic technologist license and additional certifications like PALS or ENPC. Essential Skills Critical thinking. Excellent communication. Physical dexterity. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Physical stamina, attention to detail, and capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Key Duties Assisting with various interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies. Operating specialized equipment. Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
