Propel Clinical Board Certified Behavior Analyst
K-12 Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Reports To: Director of Special Education / Student Services Director / Building Principal
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Early Career to Experienced - New BCBAs Welcome About Propel Clinical
Propel Clinical is a healthcare organization founded in partnership with a leading academic health system. Our mission is simple: help clinicians step into the roles they actually want, and lift up the next generation of clinicians coming behind them. Medicine is hard enough. The training is long, the days are heavy, and too many talented clinicians end up somewhere that just doesn't fit. We're the partner that clears the friction - credentialing, paperwork, logistics - so your energy goes where it should: the patients and students who need you. We're small enough that you'll reach a real decision-maker instead of a call center, and we treat the people we place like professionals, not line items on an invoice. Today, that mission includes bringing dedicated clinical support into K-12 schools, where the need is urgent and the impact is real. Whether you're an established clinician chasing the right fit or an aspiring one building toward it, we're in your corner - because the work is hard enough already. You deserve to do it with a great company. What We Offer
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supports students whose behavioral needs impact their access to learning in a K-12 educational setting. Serving as the behavioral expert on multidisciplinary teams, the BCBA conducts assessments, designs and oversees behavior intervention plans, trains and coaches school staff, and supervises behavior technicians so that students receive consistent, evidence-based support. The role is collaborative and consultative - supporting classrooms, teams, and at times multiple buildings - rather than carrying a traditional one-to-one clinical caseload. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ready to do work that matters with a team that has your back? We'd love to hear from you.

- State behavior analyst licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as required by the state of placement (e.g., Virginia Board of Medicine; North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavioral assessment, and evidence-based intervention.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or educational settings.
- Familiarity with the IEP process, IDEA requirements, and Section 504.

- Experience training and coaching teachers, paraprofessionals, or behavior technicians.
- Experience supervising RBTs or BCaBAs.
- Experience working with students with autism and across school-age and adolescent populations.
- Ability to conduct behavioral assessments and design effective, function-based interventions.
- Ability to translate ABA concepts into practical steps that non-specialists can implement.
- Ability to coach school staff and build buy-in with team members who may be unfamiliar with ABA.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing clear, defensible assessment reports and plans.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across classrooms or buildings and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Commitment to supporting inclusive educational practices and equitable student outcomes.
- Work is performed in a school environment serving students in grades K-12.
- Frequent interaction with students, families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
