This individual will complete patient registration and intake for patients arriving for CPAP machine fittings. Key duties include verifying patient information, collecting and entering accurate demographic and insurance data, scheduling and confirming appointments as needed, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in compliance with organizational policies and procedures. .

• Responsible for providing support during process improvement initiatives to assist with driving all areas of workflow, including verification and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company
• Must be familiar with payer guidelines and reading clinical documentation to determine qualification status and compliance for all equipment and services.
• Working knowledge in all areas of customer service, intake, daily operations and revenue cycle processes and workflows from beginning to end, which may includ
• Review all required documentation to ensure accuracy
• Complete insurance verification to determine the patient’s eligibility, coverage, co-insurance, and deductibles

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of call center experience handling 50+ calls a day
• Healthcare background is a nice to have but not needed
• General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies and documentation requirements preferred.
• Work well independently and as part of a group

This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Overland Park,KS.
