Sorter Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial. Sorter Experience Requirements Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation. Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required. Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments. Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance. Sorter Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures. The Sorter supports warehouse productivity through accurate inventory handling, order fulfillment, and material movement. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. A successful Sorter understands receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control while maintaining safe work practices and consistent productivity.
