Role Overview Provides ionizing radiation therapy to patients following physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy during treatment. Role Overview Provides ionizing radiation therapy to patients following physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy during treatment. Responsibilities Administers prescribed radiation doses, verifies patient identity, and explains procedures. Prepares treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring proper immobilization and patient comfort. Monitors patients for reactions and adverse effects, reporting any concerns to supervisors and physicians. Maintains detailed treatment records, reviews patient charts, and ensures data accuracy. Supervises clinical students and evaluates their procedural skills. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Required certifications: ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (TRT). Preferred education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in radiological technology or related field. Experience in radiologic technology is advantageous. Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
