Shelter Resident Advocate: Safe, Compassionate Support
The Family Place
The Family Place in Dallas is seeking a Resident Advocate to support survivors of domestic violence by creating a safe, welcoming shelter and assisting residents with daily needs, safety planning, and empowerment. You will work with case managers to document updates, intervene in crises using de-escalation techniques, ensure intake steps within 24 hours, and help residents develop life skills.
