Traveling General Superintendent (Mechanical) - Jacksonville, FL

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling General Superintendent (Mechanical) in Jacksonville, FL for a direct hire opportunity with our client. Job Type: Direct Placement Pay: $120,000 to $165,000 Per Year BOE Responsibilities Lead field operations for mechanical and hydronic piping installations on large commercial and DoD construction projects. Coordinate field crews and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work on aggressive project schedules. Work closely with project leadership to manage installation, materials, and field execution across complex project sites Qualifications 4+ years as a Piping Superintendent or Superintendent on government, military, or large commercial construction projects. 4+ years of trade experience as a journey-level mechanical pipefitter. Experience with hydronic piping systems, underground utilities, boilers/chillers, and project closeout Experience supporting military, federal, or large commercial construction projects preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass all pre‑employment screenings (background, drug test, federal clearances). OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, EM-385 certifications required (training can be provided) Physical Requirements Must be aware of OSHA safety standards Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders. Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion. Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
