Assignment: 13+ Week Travel Contract

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for an exciting travel opportunity in Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy environment while utilizing your sterile compounding, clinical, leadership, and regulatory compliance experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to expand their experience in infusion and sterile compounding while enjoying a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule. There is also potential for the assignment to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders
• Perform and oversee hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure accuracy, quality, and patient safety
• Review patient medication profiles for allergies, drug interactions, appropriate dosing, compatibility, and other clinical considerations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care
• Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom procedures, aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, and applicable regulatory standards
• Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate compounding, batch, quality assurance, and regulatory documentation
• Assist with inventory management, controlled substances, and daily pharmacy operations as needed

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing required
• Minimum of 1 year of hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding experience
• Strong knowledge of and experience working under USP <797> , USP <800> , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety and quality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy environment
