Vice President, Data Science and Analytics (Media Analytics)

And our cross-functional Data Science & Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling marketing automation, shaping more intelligent strategies, and driving continuous improvement.We are seeking a strategic VP to lead measurement & analytics activities across a portfolio of Razorfish media clients. This role is responsible for leading a team of data practitioners that deliver measurement strategy, testing, reporting and insights. The VP leads and develops team members, and partners closely with internal capability leads, and acts as a trusted advisor to clients.This is a leadership role – the right candidate is a thought leader, and will be able to effectively influence stakeholders, internally and externally. We are looking for someone that deeply understands the media & marketing technology landscape, who can be help shape strategies and deliver better outcomes for our clients.Responsibilities:Partner with account leadership to draft scopes of work, outline deliverables, and design staff plansLead and ensure high-quality outputs across measurement planning, data strategy, reporting automation & dashboarding, and insightsOwn executive-level presentations in partnership with other discipline leads – inclusive of quarterly business reviews, proposals, annual strategiesParticipate in new business proposals and presentations as a data science & analytics lead, owning data strategy & measurement related contentContribute to the media Data Science & Analytics practice, including thought leadership, and toolkit & vendor assessmentsLine management of other team members including coaching, mentorship, and output quality assuranceQualifications:9-11+ years of experience in media analytics, digital analytics, or marketing analyticsMedia or digital agency experience highly desiredMastery of paid media measurement approaches, tools, and methodologiesKnowledge and demonstrable understanding of key media measurement methodologies (attribution, MMM, incrementality, surveys, etc)Strong understanding of ETL, data transformation, automation, and pipeline architectureVery strong communication and storytelling skills with experience presenting to, and influencing executive level clientsExperience leading teams and line managingAbility to lead projects and mentor teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, data-driven outputs
