Job specification

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Med / Telemetry unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding to changes in patient condition promptly and accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure a seamless care experience.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and recovery processes to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience may be considered.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
