Locums Neurosurgery PA/NP Inpatient + Call Tampa, FL (FL License) Why This Role

Full-time inpatient neurosurgery opportunity with an established high-volume practice
Join a team of 5 neurosurgeons and 4 APPs
Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center
Cerner EMR

Assignment Details

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Setting: Inpatient
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) with rotating call
Call Type: Beeper
EMR: Cerner

Requirements

Active Florida PA or NP license
Board Certified PA or NP
ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 1 year of Neurosurgery OR First Assist experience
Ability to work a minimum of two weeks per month
Local candidates preferred

Clinical Details

Inpatient rounding and patient management
First Assist in Neurosurgery OR
Adult and pediatric neurosurgical patients
Rotating call schedule (approximately 1:4 Ai1:5 nights and weekends)
Coverage for unassigned neurosurgical patients
Collaborative practice within a high-volume Level II Trauma Center
