Associate Marketplace Team Member

Dining Room Worker Specific responsibilities: Set up food stations Stock food Display signage and sample displays Plate food under the direction of full‑time staff or student‑lead workers Monitor the serving line and dining room during meal periods to keep food replenished Serve food to guests Answer questions and aid guests in finding foods that meet their needs Clean and sanitize all work areas, equipment, supplies, and utensils Reconcile food at the end of the meal as directed Perform additional duties as assigned Attend college‑required training Maintain regular attendance Work safely, observing health and sanitation codes and regulations required by the college or governmental authority Dish Room Worker Specific responsibilities: Rinse, stack, and process dishes through the dishwasher, keeping pace with incoming dishes from the conveyor belt Perform duties at the five stations: window position, spray station, push station, take‑off station, and extra person station Wash, rinse, and sanitize large pots, pans, and utensils in pot and pan agitator sinks Put away all pots and utensils in the proper storage location During busy times, stock dishes and flatware in the marketplace Perform additional duties as assigned Attend college‑required training Maintain regular attendance Work safely, observing health and sanitation codes and regulations required by the college or governmental authority Qualifications Required Minimum Qualifications: Some retail/institutional food service or equivalent experience preferred, but not required Ability to take direction from experienced food handlers in established procedures Ability to stand for the entire shift and move within the workstation Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to focus on tasks in a noisy environment Ability to communicate verbally and talk politely with co‑workers and customers Ability to exercise good judgment and learn new techniques and procedures Equal Employment Opportunity St. Norbert College is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr St. Norbert College
