Work Environment As a remote position, our Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, offering flexibility in work hours to accommodate various schedules. Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to the needs of diverse client populations, applying evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques. Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to inform treatment planning and assist clients in navigating their mental health journeys. Engage in crisis intervention by providing immediate support and strategies to stabilize clients in distressing situations. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation such as service reports and mental health treatment records in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with institutional staff and multidisciplinary teams, offering insights regarding client mental health management and participating in case consultations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with the latest developments in mental health care practices. Patient Population / Client Focus This role will involve serving a diverse population of clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and various personality disorders. Our patients often require tailored support that acknowledges their unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds, and we strive to provide an inclusive environment where all individuals feel heard and supported. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required. Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC is mandatory, and candidates must be familiar with the latest requirements and supervision guidelines in Washington State. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong background in crisis management and therapeutic interventions. Expertise in mental health counseling, including knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychotherapeutic techniques, psychological assessment methods, and crisis intervention strategies. Preferred Experience Demonstrated experience in telehealth service delivery, including familiarity with online tools and platforms. Involvement in multidisciplinary teams, indicating ability to collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals. Participation in quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting, showcasing a commitment to enhancing service delivery standards. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
