QA Engineer

QA EngineerWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and functional requirementsCreate test plans, test strategies, and detailed test casesExecute manual and/or automated test casesIdentify, document, and track defectsPerform regression, integration, system, and UAT support testingValidate data accuracy using SQL queries (if applicable)Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetingsEnsure application meets functional and non-functional requirementsCollaborate with developers to resolve issuesMaintain test documentation and reportsPerform API testing using tools like Postman/SwaggerValidate UI/UX behavior across browsers and devicesRequired SkillsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of SDLC and STLCExperience in Manual TestingKnowledge of Automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright – if applicable)API Testing knowledgeBasic SQL knowledge for data validationUnderstanding of REST APIs and JSONExperience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)Version control knowledge (Git)Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work in Agile environmentTeam collaboration mindsetPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldISTQB certification (optional but preferred)Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologyExperience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience Required2–5 years (for mid-level role)0–2 years (for junior role)5+ years (for senior role)Optional Add-ons (Based on Your Requirement)If Product-Based CompanyExperience in performance testing (JMeter)Security testing basicsIf SaaS / HRMS / CRM DomainExperience in filters, reporting, data-heavy applicationsStrong database validation skills
