IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Foley, Alabama patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and deliver customer service. The role operates Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with rotating Saturdays and includes administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing with accurate data entry
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
