This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliGreet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner/liliCheck patients in and out for appointments, ensuring all forms and documentation are completed/liliSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the practices scheduling system/liliVerify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals/liliCollect and process co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances/liliAnswer incoming calls, route messages, and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously/liliMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations/liliManage front office inventory and keep the reception area clean and organized/liliCommunicate effectively with medical staff and support coordination of patient care/liliAssist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and faxing as needed/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required/lili1+ year of experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred/liliKnowledge of insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicare, etc.) and medical terminology a plus/liliProficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred/liliStrong communication, organization, and multitasking skills/liliAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment/liliBilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred/li/ul/div
