Job Opportunity: PICU Registered Nurse
Our organization is in search of a skilled PICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity pediatric unit located in Boston, MA. This contract position offers a chance to deliver critical care based on evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities- Administer critical care to pediatric patients, including managing ventilators and complex medication drips.
- Monitor hemodynamic status and respond effectively to pediatric emergencies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to ensure optimal care.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to families regarding their child's condition and care.
- Document all care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
