Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Pharmacists needed urgently for per diem positions across multiple Northern California locations, including the greater Sacramento area, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California regions. This role offers flexible opportunities to supplement your current schedule while supporting high-demand retail pharmacy settings during the busy holiday season.

Locations:

• Sacramento area (3-4 positions)
• Bay Area/North Bay (2 positions)
• Northern California, including Redding and Chico (2 positions)

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional pharmacy services in retail settings
• Manage pharmacy operations including opening/closing procedures
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Administer immunizations as certified
• Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software for prescriptions and inventory management
• Travel to various locations within the greater Sacramento and Northern California areas as needed

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, including experience with opening/closing procedures and managing pharmacy staff
• Immunization certification required
• Ability and willingness to travel and commute across multiple locations within Northern California
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem coverage on an as-needed basis
• Approximately 1-2 shift requests per week on average across all markets
