RN - Post Operations

Registered Nurse – PACU

Greensburg, PA

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | On-call includes 1 night per week (9:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (Saturday & Sunday)

Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU setting, monitoring recovery and responding to changes in patient condition

Participate in a rotating call schedule including 1 overnight call shift per week and weekend call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays

Complete weekend rotation requirements: each RN is expected to work 3 of the 12-hour shifts within a 6-week schedule (2 day shifts and 1 overnight shift), which may be spread across multiple weekends or consolidated into a single weekend

Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed

Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission

Minimum 1 year of PACU or relevant RN experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible

Current BLS certification required (AHA only)

Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)

Current NIHSS certification required

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address to be eligible

Candidates must be available to work every other holiday

Willingness to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed

Experience with Cerner electronic health records system

Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
