What You’ll Be Doing As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in both surgical and medical care. You’ll be responsible for: Assisting veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture Caring for hospitalized and recovering patients Supporting client communication and education Maintaining accurate medical records in a paperless system Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care at all times You’ll be trusted to use your training, think critically, and actively participate in patient care.
