Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring strong experience in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, and ENT specialties.

Details

• 13-week contract assignment in a hospital Operating Room unit
• Shift schedule is 06:30-19:00, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong experience in Orthopedics, extensive Neuro, Robotics in multiple specialties, and ENT required
• License required if applicable
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start for licensed professionals

Additional Information

• Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines to support well-coordinated patient care
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
