Full-Time Retail & Range Associate

Shooter’s Alley is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team full-time at our indoor firearms and archery range and retail store in Mission, Texas.

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, comfortable working with customers, and interested in becoming knowledgeable in firearms, archery, shooting sports, and range operations. Previous firearms or retail experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service on the retail sales floor
• Assisting customers with firearms, ammunition, accessories, archery products, and range services
• Checking customers in and out of the shooting range
• Learning and enforcing range safety rules and procedures
• Processing sales through our point-of-sale system
• Assisting with firearm sales, transfers, and required paperwork after training
• Stocking merchandise and maintaining organized displays
• Receiving and organizing inventory
• Maintaining a clean and professional retail store and shooting range
• Answering customer questions by phone and in person
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures
• Performing other duties needed to keep the store and range operating efficiently

• Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail duties, including lifting and stocking merchandise
• Able to work Saturdays and some holidays
• Must meet all legal requirements applicable to working around and handling firearms

Schedule:

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week. Saturday availability is required. Schedule may include opening and closing shifts.

Compensation:

Starting pay is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, firearms knowledge, and ability to take on responsibility.

Shooter’s Alley is a locally owned business with a small team. We are looking for someone who wants to become a dependable long-term member of the operation—not simply fill a temporary retail position.
