Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LDRP position at a unique island hospital, requiring an active MA RN license, Epic experience, and postpartum nursing experience.

Details

• LDRP unit at a small community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors annually
• Patients include laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum mothers and newborns
• 36 hours per week on rotating shifts
• Charting is performed in Epic; prior Epic experience is required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Current NRP certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior postpartum nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• This facility is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles offshore
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
• Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
